The audience relaxed on the grass on the banks of Lake Formosa to listen to the Musicians on stage at the Orlando Folk Festival. Terry and I had a hot dog for lunch and sank into our lawn chairs. Small children were playing and dancing to the music. Those odd rusty characters are metal sculptures.

Your work is amazing, Thor! I’m so happy you’re going to be joining us at USk in March—you’ll be a great addition!
Thanks for the visit in my little blog! And compliments for this color, very luminous!

This scene reminds me of Seurat’s “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte”, love it!
Thor, I thought I had left a comment here the other day, but I must have goofed on the word verification thing. I like what you do very much and am so glad you’re going to be joining us at USk in March. I look forward to following your sketches and adventures.
Gabi,
I love that you thought of the La Grande Jatte, I saw that painting several months ago in Chicago. It is huge and amazing. I also saw Sunday in the Park with George on Broadway when it first came out. A roommate helped with the set design. I enjoy singing the songs from that show particularly “Art isn’t Easy”. If you haven’t seen the show, rent it I believe it is on DVD.
Thank you so much for the compliments Lauraline and Ben.
