This isn’t an organization, it’s a group of like-minded artists coming together to create, network and inspire one another in this beautiful local park in the heart of Downtown Orlando. Set up anywhere you wish in the park, but we will mostly gather near the stage area. This event is totally free and open to anyone who wants to participate! All forms of artwork are encouraged. Things to bring- art supplies, chairs, blankets, musical instruments, friends, snacks, drinks, cameras, business cards, words of encouragement, and positive energy. Since we are spending time at this park, we are NOT allowed to sell any items but we can meet and mingle and promote upcoming events. Bathrooms are limited to across the street at Langford Park. The Super Joy Riders: Do Gooder Bike Ride is an exercise in community organizing and active engagement. Approximately 250 infantry, artillery, and cavalry troops will stage two battles. Battles will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm. A parade of colors will be presented at noon on Saturday and Sunday. When the participants are not engaged in battle reenactments, their historic camps will be open to the public from 10 am – 5 pm, illustrating other aspects of military life circa 1864.

(now in their late 70s) who reflect on their early lives amidst the

art. In 2010, the newly restored drawings, buried for decades deep
inside a church in Washington DC, are taken back to Japan where they are
reunited with the artists and exhibited in the very building where they
were created.

Please join us for the Astronomy Observatory Open House nights at ERAU’s Daytona Beach campus! These free events allow the campus community and members of the general public of all ages to view the night sky through the Observatory’s telescopes, ask questions, and learn about our universe.

This year we are introducing a new Public Lecture to the Astronomy Open House that will begin at 7pm. Observations will follow from 8pm – 11pm.

View the sky through many of the Observatory’s telescopes and binoculars. We have step stools so kids can reach the eyepiece!

In addition to viewing the night sky through our telescopes, explore our astronomy posters and take a walking tour of the solar system. There is no fixed program for observations and no reservations are necessary. Just drop by to see the stars!
