8:30am to 4pm Free. National Dance Day. Cultural Park (lawn in front of the Loch Haven Neighborhood Center). This year’s event will encourage families and friends to begin the morning of July 25 at the NDDO Community Celebration, located at Cultural Park, to participate in exercises, dance routines, and performances by Central Florida dance professionals.  Within walking distance of the park is the Orlando Ballet Central Campus where 30 free specialized dance classes will be offered throughout the day to ages 3-100, including special needs movement classes.  Central Florida dance company directors, choreographers, and fitness instructors will share different styles of dance through body conditioning, dance technique, and choreography at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.  NDDO desires to bring educational, community-driven dance opportunities to non-dancers and dancers alike! All red items are dance sessions we can sketch.

of parties, kids events, and open gallery hours inside an empty
storefront in Orlando, Florida. Kids Fringe Cardboard Matinee  1:00pm- 3:00pm $1 per kid to participate.

We hope to use the ride as an opportunity to show how helping people can be simple, fun, and easy, especially while wearing a cape.

Originally a project of University of Central Florida’s Downtown Media Arts Center, Enzian became the home of FilmSlam when DMAC closed in 2006. Now in its fifth year at Enzian, FilmSlam continues to be a popular outlet for indie and student filmmakers throughout the State of Florida.

FilmSlam will usually be held on the second Sunday of each month at 1PM at Enzian.

The Author’s Fair in Library Central will feature 26 authors of all genres from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. NYT Bestselling Author and Printz Honor recipient Rick Yancey will give the keynote address at 11 a.m. and sign immediately after his talk. Yancey’s book The 5th Wave is now a major motion picture, releasing 2016. From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be panel discussions for both readers and aspiring authors.

This is the kick-off to a recurring event held on select Saturdays at Snap! Space.

Collectors are willing to pay steep prices for the world’s finest art and photography books. We’ll be showcasing signed rare editions from the likes of Duane Michals, Gottfried Helnwein, Irwin Olaf, Mei Xian Qiu, Sebastiao Salgado, Tom Chambers, Zun Lee, Viviane Sassen and many more. Comics creator, Shawn Surface will be on hand promoting his upcoming series “Mandi”, signing books, prints and drawing custom character sketches with proceeds going to the Hero Initiative.

Derrick Fish will be here with original art, prints and all his creator owned comics such as “The Wellkeeper”, “Dandy and Co.”, “APPARITION” and his all new “CARPE NOCTEM”.

Comics creator, Jenni Gregory will be here signing copies of her books, Dream Walker and Summoner with proceeds going to Hero.

Renowned convention artist, Michael “Locoduck” Duron will be present doing character sketches for attendees.

The connecting theme of this show is the use of words and numbers in art. Included are paintings, sculptures, photography and multi media pieces. The collection is diverse vibrant and interesting.

This show will be up for the months of May, June and July at The Barefoot Spa. Most of the artists will be available at the reception to speak to you about their art. Please make time in your schedule to support the Central Florida art community!

Noon to 3pm Free. Music at the Casa. Casa Feliz Historic Home Museum, 656 North Park Avenue, Winter Park, FL. Classern String Quartet  The Classern String Quartet combines the Classic elegance of a string quartet with a modern twist by performing pop and rock melodies from yesterday and today.

Each member of the Quartet is a college educated, Classically trained musician that have performed in major symphonies and events throughout Florida.

They have a large repertoire of music and perform anything from Bach to the Beatles, Lady Gaga , the Black Eyed Peas and everything in between.
