I was seated in front of the stores newspaper and flier stand. As I worked a woman came in and dropped off a flier for a Witches and Wizards Ball. I tool the flier because it sounds like a tempting subject. I rather liked the banner that proclaimed never, never, never give up. That mantra ran through my head as my field of vision was often blocked at I tried to complete the sketch.
I drove by this the other day after picking up some Little Saigon. It struck me how ill-paired faeries and warlocks and witches and sprites are with hot, thick, sticky, humid heat. Nevertheless, I was left feeling hopeful at the ever-broadening palette of Orlando evolving and I count you as one of its pioneers. Keep up the good work, my friend. I am spreading the good news.
Hey Boulette,
Thanks for the good words. It was indeed sweltering. That is why I ended up sketching inside. Can a sweaty overheated faery fly?
